Jenny from Oregon

Our girl this week is Jennifer Walkiewicz from Oregon. She is also known to many on campus as Jenny. Jenny is a Junior at Sweet Briar , and claims that when she was looking for colleges, she wanted a school with great academics and a riding program. Since she has been riding horses for a longtime and the academics had great ratings, Sweet Briar made her list. Jenny claims that she loved a lot of things about Sweet Briar as a perspective student. She loved the tour she was given, as well as the land and the stables that SBC has; So if you are a campus tour guide keep up the good work on making our campus look great to others! While Jenny has been living here on campus the last three years, some of her favorite things are, the biology professors and the barn of course; but she absolutely loves how involved she is with her major and the junior class. While being at SBC during the school year she misses a lot from her home State, especially the city, since she lives in Downtown Portland. Jenny also misses not being able to get in her car and drive a hour to the coast, one of her favorite places about her state. While still discussing what Jenny misses from her home state she says that it "sounds so weird, I miss the rainy weather. Having grown up with constant rain it's weird to be here where it's just windy! I don't like the wind."

If you are ever traveling and stop in Oregon, Jenny suggest three places to visit, that you will absolutely love. The first Place of course is the coast, She says it is "one of the most beautiful places in the world." The second place she suggest you visit if you are there in the month of May, is the Japanese Rose Garden. Jenny says that while at this garden you will see some beautiful flowers as well Downtown Portland and Mt. Hood in the background. The Third and final place she suggest that you should visit is 23rd avenue in Portand. There is some great shops as well as you should eat Pizzicato Pizza. Jenny Claims this pizza "is the Best!" So if you're ever in the area, make Oregon a must stop on your list of places to go.

Good post. I like the way you've added links to some of your subject's favorite places. Oregon is beautiful and Portland is a really fun place.
